The Mason Challenger League is partnering with the City of Mason as well as the Mason Parks & Recreation Foundation to help make the Adaptive Ball Fields at Makino Park a reality.
The City of Mason strives to create opportunities for every member of the community to reach their highest wellness potential and inclusivity is a significant factor in achieving this endeavor. The future Adaptive Ball Fields at Makino Park will complement the repertoire of amenities that reinforce the City’s commitment to building a culture of wellness in the community. Makino Park has become a regional destination for children and adults of all abilities to interact and play together and the adaptive ball fields will provide another opportunity for children and families to connect and thrive in Mason. Established in 2006 to preserve Mason’s livability by raising funds to enhance and expand the community’s parks, trails, and recreation programs. Its first major project was raising funds for the Common Ground Playground which opened in Spring of 2021.
